Dr. Seema Chaudhari is board certified in general pediatrics and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Medicine and Dentistry New Jersey: New Jersey Medical School and completed both her internship and pediatrics residency at Albany Medical Center. She received her Bachelor of Arts in biology from Johns Hopkins University. She is a member of the Society for Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics.
Dr. Chaudhari decided to pursue a career in medicine because she wanted to use what she’d learned from biology, genetics, psychology, and sociology to heal illness, promote healthy lifestyles, and prevent disease. She is passionate about helping children grow and develop, physically, mentally, and emotionally. She has worked to improve the health care of an underserved rural population in northeastern New York for over twenty years. She has particular interests in child development, anxiety management, mindfulness, nutrition, trauma-focused care, and healthy lifestyle promotion.
In addition to a career providing healthcare to children, she has spent time volunteering on the Havasupai Reservation, providing primary care services to children. She also works as a volunteer with the Leukemia Lymphoma Society, Team in Training, raising money to fight childhood cancer.
In her spare time, Dr. Chaudhari enjoys hiking, birdwatching, yoga, gardening, and board games.
